Each time a SYNC operation is performed, the application will connect to the Bike Washington web service and download the most recent database information. When this occurs, the IP address assigned to your device will be logged. This information is only used for diagnostics purposes and is never shared with third parties
The application also makes use of Location Services, provided by your device's operating system, in order to determine your latitude and longitude. Location information is NEVER shared outside the application. The application computes the distance between your current location and the pre-determined locations of objects in the database to determine distance to points and interest and estimated milepost number.
The application does not collect or report any additional personal information.
