This short loop around the Montgomery County Airpark provides a quick workout when your time is short. The route starts at Lake Whetstone (near Lakeforest Mall) and winds its way through Montgomery Village. The route then follow Route 124 south past the Airpark. At mile 8.3, there is a good observation location of the main runway. At Mid-County Highway, the route turn right and returns to the start.

Most of the route is on residential streets or side trails. At mile 3.9 there is a short off-road section. However, this can be easily circumvented by making a right on to Snouffer School Road and left Goshen Road (instead of following Pleasent Ridge Drive). Food is available at several points along the route.

NOTE: A 1 mile long section along Route 124 (between 115 and Mid-County Hwy) requires riding in traffic. You may want to avoid this area during rush hour.
